The Journey Began July 23, 1941

Rosa was called from Labor to Reward at 8:30 am, June 13, 2015. Rosa’s legacy will always

remain and her memory will be cherished by her children and family and friends. Rosa is

survived by Husband Earnest White Jr.,  and three daughters Phyllis Renee Richmond (Cleveland,

OH), Angela D. White (Farmington, CT), Sheila White-Asberry, (Cleveland, OH), son-in-law

Darrell Asberry, grandchildren David D. Richmond Jr., Alycia Asberry Dumas (Deronte),

great-grandchildren; Tajanee West and Ziyon Edwards. Great-grandchild; Dream R. Dumas

preceded her in death. Her beloved godsons; Curtis Childress, Gary Childress and Darrell

(Daneen) Childress. Her very special friends; Patricia Childress, Mary Davis, Eliza Edwards,

Rosemary Norris, Diane Gibson, Sandra Kuhn and Esau Johnson.  Special nephew; Johnny Ray White

(Her Road Dog).  Her bothers; Philip (Della) Witherspoon (Tennessee) and Tommie Witherspoon (Alabama.), brothers; Willie Huggins and David Alexander preceded her in death.  Her beloved sister; Rebecca Wimberly (Mississippi), sister-in-laws; Elestine Thomas, Essie Freeman (William), Ruby Jean Lee (Victor), Sarah Bonds, and Jesse Collins(James),  brother-in-law; James White (Wilma) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family from  East 82nd  Street.
