Rosetta Ford, also known as Ella to all who knew and loved her, was born on July 9, 1942 in Birmingham, Ala. to the parents of Jesse Morris and Rosanna Morris (nee) Conductor, both who preceded her in death.

Ella attended the Birmingham, Alabama school system.  She confessed Christ at an early age and worked as a dietician at a nursing home for many years.

Rosetta and Raymond Ford were married for many years and they had 5 children together.

Ella was loved by many and a friend to all.  She was not only called mama or grandma by her own family but also by many of the children that grew up in the neighborhood.  She loved life and people.  Rosetta was a fun loving person and cared about everyone. 

Rosetta was preceded her in death by brothers, Robert Morris, Willie Morris, and Bobby Morris; step-brother, Stephon Morris; grandson, James Wilson and nephews, Alwynn Linder and Ronald Linder.

Rosetta is survived by her five children, Sally Thomas, Anthony Wayne Morris, Nina (Cookie) Ford, Bruce Ford and Candy Ford (Howard Mormon); sister, Annie Pearl McGowan; brother, Jesse Morris (Mae); sister-in-law, Effie Morris; brother-in- law, Lesile Linder (Salome); step-sisters, Jessie Mae Pickett and Johnnie Morris; 27 grandchildren; 17 great grand-children and a host of relatives and friends.

Rosetta will be truly missed.
