Rosie L. Johnson (nee, Kimbrough) was born on September 17, 1932, to Lucille Johnson in Wynne, Arkansas. She was a college graduate and member of New Trinity Missionary Baptist Church.
Rosie was a childcare worker at Sagamore Hills Children’s Psychiatric Hospital and worked there many years until her retirement in 1978. Even after retirement, she went back to work at Pine Valley Care Center as a Physical Therapist.
In her free time, Rosie loved playing scratch-offs and watching Law & Order.
She is preceded in death by her mom, Lucille Johnson; grandsons, DeShaun Kimbrough, and Tristan Marcum; and dear friend who was her partner in crime, Christina Jones.
She is survived by her children, Christina Kimbrough, Ben (Kelly) Kimbrough, John Kimbrough, and David Kimbrough; grandchildren, Naprie, Julian, Miles, and Destiny; great-grandchildren, Mikelle, Amelia, and Lydia; brother, Phillip Love; special friends, Ms. Ida (who was also her caretaker), Ms. Lena, and the ladies in Mission; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
