Rosietta Allen was born October 4, 1923 in Stateline, Mississippi to Lum and Hattie Woulard who proceeded her in death.
She attended the Mississippi school system.
Rosietta devoted her life to Christ at an early age and was the daughter of a Baptist preacher. She was a mother of 11 children including a set of twins and dedicated her life to nurturing and raising her family.
Rosietta married Rufus Allen at an early age of 18. They met at church in Atmore, Alabama. Rosietta and Rufus relocated to Cleveland, Ohio soon after they married and started their family. Her husband Rufus preceded her in death at an early age of 36.
She dedicated many years of her life working for CMHA as a geriatric technician which is where she retired from. During this time, she worked diligently raising her children. Once they were all grown and off on their own, she relocated back to her hometown Stateline, Mississippi for 15 years where she assisted a longtime dear friend with running a neighborhood store in the rural area where she resided until her health started declining in 2005. She then relocated back to Cleveland, Ohio to be with her children.
She loved to bowl, cook, listen to gospel music, and attend church regularly. She loved to clean and was known for keeping an immaculate home and anyone was welcome there. She always looked forward to the annual family picnics and her birthday celebrations.
She is preceded in death by her parents Lum and Hattie Woulard. Brothers: LJ, Cush, Daniel, Paul, Wiley, and David. Sisters: Arutha, Rutha Mae, Emma, Jeanetta, Mattie Lee and Dorothy Mae

Six of her 11children proceed her in death: Ruth, Mildred, Robert, Rosie, Delores, and Willie Louis.
She is survived by her children: Shirley, Rufus (Marleen), Diane, Dennis, and Alfred. Her sister Beatrice Reynolds and brother Eddie James Wouldard
She also leaves 27 grandchildren and a host of great, great grand and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
