Ruby C. Harrison went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. She was born in Repton, Alabama on October 27, 1923, to the late, Thomas and Servia Preyer.

In 1938 she joined hands in Holy Matrimony with Mack Harrison. In this union, nine beautiful children were born. Ruby decided to be a homemaker, raising and spoiling her children with love. In her free time, she spent time with her grandchildren, who she loved dearly.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Mack K. Harrison; son, Frank (Gloria) Harrison, Richard Harrison; loving son-in-law, Edroy McCormick, Sr.; six brothers, five sisters and loving great-grandson, Chadwin Moorer.

She leaves to mourn her sons, Hasan Mateen and Christopher (Rhonda) Harrison; daughters, Ruby R. Dawson, Amanda (Henry) Dancy, Janice Harrison, Joyce Harrison, and Alisa Malone; as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and other extended family.
