Ruel Wilberforce Marson, 84, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 24,2025 in Cleveland, Ohio. Born in Woodland, Hanover, Jamaica West Indies to proud parents William and Loretta Marson. He was the second child born to this union.

Ruel attended Watford Hill All Age School in his hometown, Woodland J.W.I. He later migrated to Cleveland, Ohio in 1970 where he met the love of his life Hyacinth. They were married for 54 years.

Ruel worked in Housekeeping for many years at Mt. Sinai Hospital until it closed in 2000. Then, worked several years at The Cleveland Clinic until his retirement.

Ruel was a long-time member and was baptized at Calvary Apostolic Assembly Church. In his leisure time, he enjoyed playing dominoes and watching horse racing. Ruel truly enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends.

Ruel will join loved ones who preceded him in death, Mom and Dad William and Loretta, Daughter, Jennifer, grandson, Rayon, brother Blytheson and sisters, Evadne and Termutis. Remaining to cherish his memories: wife Hyacinth, children, Patrick, Judith and Latoya, grandchildren, Jaila, Paris, London, Roman, Orain, Amanda, Tameka, Fabian, Ronaldo, Stephen, Prince and Jovan. Great grandchildren, Ajanie, Jav, Allya, Zayne, Zany, Ariyanna, and Thericka. Sisters, Zalrita(Patsy) and Girlett, sixteen nephews, seven nieces, twenty great nephews, nineteen great nieces, sixteen great great nephews, ten great great nieces and other treasured relatives and friends.
