Sandra Colleen Williams was born on March 21, 1955 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Raymond Thomas and Bernice Williams. Sandra came to live in Cleveland, Ohio at a very tender age. She spent the rest of her life in Cleveland where she attended Charles H. Lake Elementary, Empire Middle School and graduated from John Adams High School. She also attended Kent State University.
Sandra gave her life to Christ at an early age and attended various churches as she grew into adulthood. She ultimately began to attend services at Central Bible Baptist Church where she remained a member until her death. Sandra often spoke about how much she loved the Lord and her favorite book of the bible was Psalms 23, she read it regularly while praying for her family.
Sandra was gorgeous and highly intelligent, “a class act”. She had many talents; she was fluent in playing the piano and the flute. She was a fashion designer and a seamstress. On any given day you could find her putting together outfits that were her own style. She had a love for cooking and baking. She loved spending time with her children whom she raised with love and devotion. She was an agent who owned and operated an independent insurance office for Allstate Insurance Company for many years. Sandra had a competitive spirit, she loved to WIN, regardless if she was playing Jacks, Monopoly or card games, especially poker. She would “beat you down” laugh and enjoy every minute of it.
