Shantell Cash Augustus was born on January 1, 1992 to Vonda K. Melton and Kenneth Augustus. She grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, attended Cleveland Public Schools, and graduated from Prep Academy. Shantell accepted Christ early in life.
Shantell’s main job was caring for her mother and children. She began doing hair at an early age. She became the hairstylist for many family members and friends. Doing hair was her specialty.
Shantell had a smile that would light up a room. The love of her life was her son Montez and her daughter Shantell. She loved being around family and friends. Shantell was a kind and giving person to everyone. She loved animals and had many in her lifetime.
Her sudden passing leaves to mourn her mother, Vonda K. Milton, her father Kenneth Augustus, her step-father John Whatley, her son Montez Banks, her daughter Shantell Woods, her brother Montell Whatley (Heather), her grandmother Maxine Washington, her aunt Davitra Washington, her uncles Roger Benedict & Jeff (Salome), her cousins Davon Washington, Jazmin London, Laveah Briggs, Shaun Benedict, Angela Benedict, & Bobby Morris, special in-laws Ken and Sonya Whitting, and a host of great aunts, uncles, loving cousins, friends, other relatives.
