On April 10,1994 Shavon Alice Miller entered into this world a bouncy 7lbs and 8oz to the proud parents Dayunka Miller and Anthony Miller at MetroHealth Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. She was Dayunka third child and only girl. She was adored and heavily protected by her two big brothers Tre-Von and Dar-Rell. Shavon was Anthony’s one and only child that he loved and cherish very much.

  Shavon was affectionately known by close loved ones as ShuShu Baby.

Shavon began her education in Cleveland before moving to Willoughby, Ohio where she graduated from Willoughby South High in 2012. During her high school years Shavon enjoyed being a member of the color guard team. After graduating from High School she attended Certified Nursing Assistant training where she received her certification to become a CNA in 2013.

In 2015, Shavon met the love of her life Christian Simpson. On June 23,2023 they entered into a matrimonial promise to God and each other to become one in front of a host of family and friends. This was one of the happiest days of her life, where she proudly became Shavon Alice Simpson.

In 2021 Shavon began a new career path at Firefighters Credit Union where she began as a Teller and shortly became Head Teller. She was promoted to become a Financial Advisor. She accomplished all this within a 3yr span. Shavon really enjoyed her time at the Credit Union and it showed in hard work and dedication in October 2024, Shavon had to resign due to her health issues.

In Shavon’s spare time she really enjoyed cooking holiday dinners, while spending time with her loving family. You always can catch Shavon dancing or being silly. She would catch you off guard with her quick witted responses and keep you laughing with her jokes. She had the face of an angel and the most infectious smile. She took great pride in being the TT of 1 niece and 3 nephews whom she gave each one their special own nicknames. She really enjoyed spending time loving on her babies.

On Tuesday July 15,2025 Shavon Alice Simpson received a call from the Lord and she answered departing from this world at 9:31am.

Shavon was preceded in her transition by her maternal grandparents Helena (Johnny) Hall and Frank Miller. Her paternal grandparents Jacqueline (Richard) Harding and Roland Burke. Shavon leaves to mourn her husband Christian Simpson of Euclid Ohio. Her father Anthony (Desire) Miller of Cleveland Ohio. Her mother Dayunka (Edgar) Grant of Bedford Heights. Her two brothers Tre-Von Miller of Eastlake Ohio and Dar-Rell Miller Sr. of Mentor, Ohio. Shavon also behind 1 niece Ella (Honey) and 3 nephews Dar-Rell Jr. (Tinka man), Da-Mari (Poohda) and Da-Von (Fat man).  Shavon will be dearly missed by many Aunts, Uncles and a host of family and friends.
