Shelley L. Robinson made her heavenly transition on Thursday, March 23, 2023. She was born July 21, 1961 in Akron, Ohio. She graduated from Buchtel High School and attended The University of Akron. She was a former member of Mount Olive Baptist Church and was also in the United States Army. She was employed at Canal Pointe as a housekeeping supervisor.

In this life, she was proud to be called Mom, Maw-Maw, and Auntie. She really loved her two granddaughters. She was a person you would enjoy knowing. She didn’t’ hold her tongue. Shelley marched in a youth group and was co-captain of that group.

Shelley really enjoyed her life and spent as much time as possible with her family and friends. She enjoyed watching football and was a super Chicago Bears fan.

Proceeding her death was her father, James Robinson; stepfather Wilbert Bethel; grandparents James and Wylene Mosley; grandparents Lundy and Ernestine Robinson; brother-in-law Steve Beasley.

Shelley leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Bethany Robinson (ASWAD); granddaughters Zhjontaya Anderson and Anijah Bey; mother Brenda Bethel; sister Toni Beasley; brothers James Robinson, Tracy Robinson, Marlon Brooks, and Germaine Brooks; nephews Shante and DeAire Robinson; a host of other nieces, nephews, and great-nephews; bonus daughter Daysha Jones; special friends Nikki Wheeler, Ernestine Jones, and Michelle Gladney; many other family members and friends.

Shelley will be missed by all who had the honor to know her.
