I met SIster Shonda Cryer through my friend and co-worker, Nicole Rainey and different services and functions at Unity Baptist Church. She was one of the nicest people I have ever met, very spiritual. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the Cryer family

This very special woman of God will truly be missed by me and my family. I certainly remember and appreciate the times that she prayed with me over the phone and in person. It was because she told me that I could I did. It is also my belief that due to her encouraging words that I have gone on to become matriarch, professor, instructor and leader. Thank you is what I was glad that I said to her while she could still hear me.

Dear Cryer Family: I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences. It breaks our hearts when death separates us from the ones we love so much. The Bible assures us that God sees our pain and sorrow and has promised that soon death will be no more.(Revelation 21:4) He will heal our broken hearts by resurrecting our precious loved ones to life again.(Acts 24:15) Until then, may the memories of Shonda and these promises from God comfort you now and in the days to come.

This woman of God will truly be missed by me. First Lady / Sister Cryer is one of the reasons that I have had the courage to take my place as respected Lab person, instructor and professor of Lab Sciences. It feels as though the world is a little bit darker without her but God is soveriegn and knows best.
