Siobhan “Bonnie” Pickett, 46, passed away recently, leaving behind a legacy of strength and devotion.
Born and raised in the local area, Bonnie was a proud graduate of North High School. Known affectionately as Bonnie by her friends and family, she was first and foremost a devoted and loving mother to her three young men, Steven, Alexander, and Addison. In her final moments, her heart remained with them, as one of the last words spoken by her was, “The Boys.” Her mother, Deidre (mom), along with her Stepfather, assured Bonnie that her sons would be well taken care of—a promise made to her and them.
Bonnie was unapologetically true to herself, living life on her own terms and learning to be unbothered by public opinion. She possessed immense courage, unafraid to set boundaries, cut ties, and do whatever was necessary to protect her sons and their peace. She had blossomed into a truly strong woman.
Though we are deeply saddened by her passing so soon, we are blessed to have had her in our lives. Her smile was infectious, and she touched many hearts during her short time with us. She will never be forgotten and lives on through her three sons. We will continue to honor her memory by striving to be as committed to our loved ones and friends as she was to her children.
Siobhan is preceded in death by her brother, William Pickett Sr.
She is survived by her loving sons: Steven Carswell, Alexander Carswell, and Addison Carswell; her parents: Deidre (Charles) Harrison and Clyde Ramsey; her brother, Daniel Pickett; her aunts: Zoretta Tye, Lenora Irvin, and Hazel Futch; and her Stepfather, William Futch. She also leaves behind her nieces: Willshawna Pickett, Willasia Pickett, Deidre Pickett, and Raelyn Pickett; her nephew, Wiiliam Pickett Jr.; and her special friend, Anthony.
