Stacy Allen Ozan, affectionately known as “Buck”, was born on December 15, 1959, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Doris and Frederick Ozan. Buck was a man of many roles and talents. He met his soulmate, Bridget Weatherspoon, in 1981, and they married in 1986. Together they built a life filled with love and devotion. A proud father, he adored his “Onliest One” daughter, Tracey, and reveled in his role as a grandfather of three girls, showering his family with love and guidance.
As a photographer, Buck had an incredible gift for capturing life’s most precious moments. Whether it was family gatherings, milestones, or everyday beauty, he preserved memories that will be cherished for generations. A dedicated and hardworking man, Buck spent much of his career at the RTA, where he was known as a “Jack of all Trades”. Buck’s generous spirit extended beyond his immediate family. His bond with his in-laws was a testament to his kind spirit and his commitment to fostering love and unity. He was a loving uncle, a loyal cousin, and a true friend to many. His words of wisdom, and open heart made him a pillar of strength and love in his community. Throughout his life, Buck demonstrated immense courage and determination. He accepted Christ in his life at United Missionary Baptist Church, and as a cancer survivor of forty years, he inspired everyone around him with his resilience and positive outlook.
Buck is survived by his devoted wife, Bridget; his daughter, Tracey; his 2 sisters, Lisa, and Brenda (Larry), Mama-in-law Mrs. Abshaw, brother-in-law Vincent; his grandchildren; his “Soul Brother” Anthony: and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Doris Ozan, and his sister, Ruby. His legacy of love, strength, and creativity will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
