In Loving Memory of Stephanie D Chaney

A loving Wife, Mother, Sister, and Friend

Her life began on Sept 12^th, 1970, to the union of the late Mr. Lloyd Robinson and Ms. Annie McGriggs of Cleveland, Oh. On October 12^th  God spoke and said, “Job well done thy good and faithful servant you’ve been faithful over a few things come on in”, the doors of heaven opened, and Stephanie walked in and saw all his loved ones that were waiting for her.

Stephanie accepted Christ at an early age at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where she sang in the Joyful Sounds Youth Choir. Stephanie later united with Harvest Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Aaron Rucker and Emeritus Rev. Lenard Burns. She was an honorary member of The Historic Greater Friendship Baptist Church. Stepahanie enjoyed serving as Treasure on the Trustee Board at Harvest Baptist Church.

Stephanie was educated in the CMSD School District, attending high school at Glenville High School where she participated in track and field activities as well as a member of the drill team. After high school Stephanie attended Akron University where she earned her associate’s degree, while attending Akron University she also sang in the Gospel Choir.

After graduating college Stephanie met her husband Carl Chaney Sr and they united in holy matrimony and unto their union one child was born Carl V Chaney II. Stephanie worked at various jobs throughout the years and retired from the transportation industry. Stepahanie enjoyed traveling, attending concerts, plays, family reunions and line dancing. Stephanie loved her WWE wrestling with her favorite wrestlers being Stone Cold Steve Austin. Stephanie found her calling when she became a member of Morning Star Chapter No 4. FAAYM PHO NC USA. She served in several roles including Worthy Matron, President of the Education Department and rising to become the National Grand Most Ancient Matron. You could always count on her to give 150% to everything and everyone. Her legacy of faith, love, and kindness will forever live on in our hearts.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory of her beloved husband Carl Chaney Sr, her loving son Carl V Chaney II, Brothers Raheem Robinson and Loren Robinson. Brother in laws Dalton Jenkins, Kevin (Ro) Johnson. Sister in laws Toni Ferguson, Shavone Johnson and Carol Chaney. Mother in law Georgia M Chaney.  Her adopted mothers Jean Carter, Thelma White, Joyce Allen, Rev June M Butler, Irma Braswell Battle. Uncle Kenneth Robinson, Aunts Joy Robinson, Gayle Robinson, Dayle Luke     her God Mother Lucy Dean, her aunt Betty Seals along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins who all loved her dearly.
