Susan departed this life to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 28, 2018. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved daughters, Taylor and Simone, her parents, Copeland and Jaunice Lauder; grandfather, Ivan Lauder, sisters, Naudia and Gee, niece and nephew, Noelle and Micah and aunts and uncles; Roy, Trevor, Keith, Gwen, Valentine, Avon, Jenny, Pauline, Deryck, Flo, Sharon and hundreds of cousins, friends and colleagues.
Susan Lauder was born August 17, 1970 in Washington DC to Copeland Lauder and Jaunice (Glave) Lauder. Susan spent her early years with her grandparents Reynold and Linnette Glave.
Susan left Jamaica at age 7 and joined her parents in Cleveland, OH where was raised among her loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Susan would go on to graduate at the top her class from John Marshall High School in 1988 and would go on to attend the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania where she would later receive a Bachelors in Marketing and Multinational Management. She would later go on to earn a Master’s in Organizational Behavior and Development from Case Western Reserve, while developing her company Love in Business, LLC – one dedicated to helping individuals and organizations eliminate fear and manifest love in the workplace.
Susan had the honor of working for multiple Fortune 500 companies including Proctor & Gamble, General Electric and Pfizer but her true passion in life was family. Susan took no job more serious than her role as a mother and dedicated her life to being a loving mother to her daughters, Taylor and Simone. Susan enjoyed being a volleyball mom and was committed to being a strong and loving role model for her daughters.
Susan spent the last 7 years of her career at the Cleveland Clinic where she served as the Director of Organizational Effectiveness where she enjoyed coaching some of the top hospital executives in the country.
Susan was a humanist, a dedicated mother, loving daughter, caring sisters and selfless friend.
