Tari Shannon Mills (Brown) passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021, after a fierce battle with Covid 19 and its complications. Tari was born on September 8, 1977, in Akron. She was a beautiful child who quickly learned to talk, so much so that she could say 101 words by the time she turned one. Her desire to communicate with people continued throughout her life and so she accumulated many, many friends who loved her. Tari had a really big heart and she helped others even if it sometimes took all that she had. Tari loved people and she often reached out to meet new people and to get to know them. She always wanted the best for everyone.
Tari was a believer in Jesus. Her faith was deep and wide, and it was a great comfort to her. She really enjoyed her early morning, daily devotions, and coffee with her dear friend Brenda.
Tari is survived by her son, Neven Joyce-Price; mother, Christy Price; stepfather, James Price; grandmother, Lois Brown; brothers, Mathew Russell, James Price and Justin Price; aunts, Sheryl Symons, and Sandy Roeske; sweet nieces and nephews, and many, many wonderful cousins, and friends.
Last but not least, her husband, Tony Mills, and her dear friend, Steve Crews, the three of them were life-long friends, the three amigos. Her father, Greg Russell; aunt, Joanie Russell, grandma, Honeybunch (Eula) Russell; grandpa, Frank Russell; grandfather, Herrick Brown and uncle, Randy Brown, all preceded her in death.
Our hearts are broken but we look forward to seeing Tari again. In her honor, we ask that you be kind and helpful to others. Tari would love that.
