Travis was already a Legend to me even before I began my career with RTA. My Father would take me to work on Holidays and I was already introduced to this great man through my Father when I was just a child. My Father Lew always had great respect for Travis. When I finally moved to another position at RTA and reported to Rail doing the same job my Father did. Travis really treated me like a great leader would. My Father Lew passed away a few weeks before Travis. They will always be Legends to me. Travis had so many special qualities. I will miss seeing that billion dollar smile and his great conversations. The entire Krehel family will never forget the Legend Mr Travis Young. Nicholas Krehel Sr

I was completely shocked when I heard the news of Mr Travis’ passing. I knew him only as my neighbor, but I always considered him a friend. I remember some of our first conversations on the street. He could be very intimidating at first. But over time I really learned to appreciate those conversations and the occasional gems he used to share almost like a father figure. Watching the live stream and listening to co-workers and his kids speak so highly of him only reinforced my belief in the man I knew him to be. My condolences to all of his family. He will be missed.
