Tyrone Martin Williams was born January 12, 1941 in Akron, Ohio to Willie and Rev. Cora Williams (Dunson). He attended Akron Public Schools.
Tyrone accepted Christ at an early age. His faith was the bridge he used to hold his family together. It also kept him standing in the toughest of times in his life, and made him thankful for the best of times.
He worked at Permold. He enjoyed artistry and fishing. Another passion of his was riding his motorcycle with the Zulu Motorcycle Club. His communication broadcast nickname was “Spitfire.”
Tyrone was preceded in death by his father, Willie Williams; mother, Rev. Cora Williams (Dunson); brothers, Nathaniel (Miriam) Armstrong and George (Betty) Williams, and sister, Evelyn (Thomas James) Cain.
He leaves to celebrate his memory daughters, Kim Marie Williams, Robyn Elaine Williams of Akron, Ohio, and Misty; son, Phillip; other children, Janet, Sandy, Kathy, Ronnie and Karen; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and special friends, George Glover and Roger Flynn.
