My prayers are with you Deonte, and your beautiful family. Valerie is around my age and in the sea of Rivers family members, we grew up together from afar. Me in Atlanta and Her in Cleveland.
But even though we didn't see each other much, we talked on the phone or Facebook and kept in touch all the time.... We could pick up where we left off no matter the date.
My heart is broken I planned on seeing Her at the Family Reunion. I don't know who to call there in Cleveland now because she was always the one that I called, to let me know what's going on in the family there.
We all have to stay in touch like we did when Grandma Phyllis and my Mom Margaret Ann, was here.
