Velma Rose (Redd) Chism went home to be with the Lord on January 12, 2016.

Velma is survived by her beloved husband, Calvin D. Chism.  Cherished Mother of Leowan Boddie, Michelle D. Boddie and Iris E. Chism.  Loving Sister of Tommy Redd, Milton Redd, Christine Jones Sullins (deceased); Grandmother of Charnai N. Sales, Dejon W. Boddie, and Taylor N. O’Neal; Great-Grandmother of Charlee N. Miles and Tyra N. O’Neal.

Velma was past President – Union Cleveland Area Local 72 American Postal Union and Current President Ohio Postal Worker Union of Retirees.
