Veronica R. Johnson, A.K.A “Doll”, was born September 15, 1970 to Vera Johnson and Morris Matthew. Veronica lived her life in Cleveland, Ohio where she worked at McDonalds and Jane Edna Hunter. Following graduation from John Hay High School, Veronica attended classes at Cleveland State University. For 10 years, she worked for the Cleveland Public Library, wehre she was promoted from Page to Clerk Typist until she resigned from her position due to illness.
Veronica is proceeded in death by her grandmother Ellen (Alfaznzo) Graham, grandfather Curtis (Mary) Johnson, aunts Queen Esther Johnson and Ella Jordan, and uncle Alfanzo Graham. She is survived by her mother, Vera Johnson, aunts Lee Kendricks and Gracie, uncles Leroy Graham and Hershey Graham, sister Kym Lassiter, and her children.
In addition, she is mourned by her many cousins, including Michael and Melanie Burns of Dallas, Texas.
Veronica Johnson departed this life on March 1, 2025 at South Pointe Hospital.
