Versie A. Benford, age 73 of Cleveland, Ohio passed way July 8th. Versie was born on June 22, 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio to Othello Wilborn and Helen Wilborn.
Versie graduated from Jane Adams and Cleveland State. Versie worked for The Chester Clinic, The Federation for Community Planning and Bank of America (MBNA).
Versie was well known for her catering in the Cleveland area, and was always the person you could count on for a great meal and great hospitality.
Versie symbolized her dedication to Jehovah in 1988. She enjoyed working on the quick builds and cooking for the building crews and friends.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters Tamara Benford-Hubbard (Ken) and Toiya Benford; her sister Dorothy Clark, as well as a host of family and friends. Versie was preceded in death by her brother Raymond Johnson.
The family of Versie Benford expresses our sincere appreciation in the love, kindness, and support that has strengthened us during this time of bereavement.
