A graveside service will be held at Glendale Cemetery on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 11:30 a.m.to celebrate her life with family and close friends.
Wanda Mae Allen (Kindall), was born on March 4, 1938, she went home to be with the Lord on August 17, 2017. Wanda, was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Estella Kindall. Wanda, was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Estella Kindall. She is survived by her children, Crystal Kindall (Dave), Twyla Robinson (Timothy), Roy Allen (Tamela), and Benjamin Allen, Jr.; grandchildren, Leah, Carolyn, Angela, Michael, Benny, Crystal, Dave and Danny.
She retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Wanda loved all of her children and raised them alone. She worked multiple jobs to be a good provider for her family. She was determined to provide a loving home and everything her children needed. She loved to host gigantic feast for friends and family, and loved cooking every holiday. She cared deeply for the down trodden and actively wrote articles to highlight injustice. Wanda believed that people were inherently good, even if they did bad things. She loved bargain shopping for her friends and family, loved nature, and outdoor activities. Wanda was passionate about music, loved to sing and play the piano. Wanda will be remembered for her brilliance, kindhearted nature, humor and beautiful singing voice.
