Wayne Carl Moss, affectionately known as WC and Chase Manhattan, was called home quietly by his heavenly Father on August 14, 2022. He was born May 26, 1947, in Akron, Ohio. He was a loving dad, brother, uncle, g-daddy, and friend.
Wayne attended and was a proud graduate of Buchtel High School. Wayne went on to work for The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for many years and retired from The Racing Division. He proudly worked for his father at EW Moss Floors, Inc. Wayne then started his own company, High Tech Cleaning Services, Inc., where he pioneered the use of thermo-plastic wax and ultra-high-speed buffers.
Wayne was a member of The Original Church of God, located at 807 Coburn Street in Akron, Ohio under the pastorship of Bishop Ayuba Maigari. Wayne also had a love of music and film photography.
Wayne is preceded in death by brother, Eugene W. Moss, Jr.; father, Eugene W Moss Sr., mother, Evan. Cora S. Moss; son, Wayne C. Moss Jr., and wife, Evan. Charleszetta Moss.
Wayne is Survived by his son, Carl D. (Ronette) Moss; his brother, Loren M. (Bertha) Roberts; Missionary Phyllis (Bishop Ayuba) Maigari; his grandchildren, Cameron, Cortez, Mackenzie, Santino, and Chenoa; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
