Sharpening knives so you can cook, trying to cut Jamail hair without our permission. Telling a story with a deck of cards, making my brothers come home early. Just seeing you! We all miss you!

I met you verbally in 2005, I met you in person Feb 18, 2006. You gave your blessing for your beautiful and gorgeous daughter and I. I knew then you were a great man, that I highly respected. I'd looked forward to our many conversations and felt like one of your sons. I saw you all the time in your lovely daughter eyes, who could only express Love for you.
I still remember our trip to Florida, and how happy and joyful you made everyone feel, I'd looked forward to many more trips.
I know you are at least looking down at us and saying we are your children.

It has been a while since I last saw you, but that's what I remember and that's who you were to me. Mr Issac, once I formally called you but as my best friend's father and you let me I called Dad! The gift of peace is very valuable to this world. Isn't this why people go on vacations, smoke cigarettes, and get massages — to relieve stress? However, these quickly fade away and so too does the temporary peace. Lasting peace is possible and it is a promise we can depend on. Are you accepting of this gift? Are you depending on this gift daily when you encounter trouble?
