William G. Smith, Sr., was called home to be with the Lord on June 16, 2017.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife Bonnie Smith. Devoted father of Miranda Thompson, Alicia Smith, and William Smith Jr. Dear son of Gurtchers Smith. Loving brother of Charissa Sallee (Leroy), and Glenn Smith Sr., and a host of extended family and friends.
Bill was devoted to God and never gave up on life. Cancer was not going to rule how he lived. He attended cookouts, spiritual retreats, school programs, and gymnastic meets.
In lieu of flowers a Legacy fund has been set up for the continuation of Bills Spiritual Retreat, “A Place for Us Legacy Fund,” donations can be made payable to and or mailed to: “A Place for Us Legacy Fund” P.O. BOX 46304, Bedford, OH 44146, or checks may be given to Bonnie Smith.
