Zion Lee Scruggs-Banks, affectionately known as “ZiZi” was born July 14, 2019 at Hillcrest Hospital @ 5:22am. Weighing in at 7lbs 6oz 19inches, he was his mom’s biggest baby!
Zion had a routine. He would wake up in the morning and come downstairs with his “blank blank”. The first thing he would ask for was his chocolate milk! He would then tell his parents “My tv not on”, and they knew that meant it was time for his favorite shows Siren Head and Cartoon Cat. He would make YouTube videos with his big brother Dion about the shows.
He loved playing in water whether it was in the bathtub or the sink. He would wash the dishes with his “DaDa” He was a clean baby, even scrubbing walls… He got this from his mother … Much like her, if something was out of place, he would fix it.
He enjoyed the outdoors…. He would play outside with his brothers all day if you allow him. He would cry when it was time to come inside. He had a collection of power wheels, bikes, motorcycles and even a miniature roller coaster. His mom would often joke that he had a whole car lot in their backyard. But please don’t ask to ride them. He had not grasped the concept of sharing quite yet. He was quick to tell you “I not”.
ZiZi was a lovable baby and full of life. He was a special baby and super advanced in everything he did.
ZiZi will be missed! He gained his wings on March 18, 2022 at 11:55 am in the comfort of his mother’s arms.
