Denise was born to the late Regina and Dennis Parks in Cleveland, Ohio, where she was raised. She is a graduate of Martin Luther King Jr. High School, after which she attended Cuyahoga Community College where she received an Associate Degree in Psychology. She later returned to Cleveland State University where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology.

Denise has been with the Calhoun Funeral Home family for over 6 years and exhibits great leadership and a strong work ethic. In her spare time, she mentors young girls and helps to raise awareness for breast cancer by participating in cancer walks.
