Ebony was born and raised in Akron, Ohio and proud of it. She graduated from Garfield High School and later attended the Akron Institute of Herzing University where she graduated with an Associate Degree in Medical Assisting. Ebony has worked in the medical field for 20 years serving as a home health aide, state tested nursing assistant, medical assistant, and in medical office administration. She has also worked as a certified phlebotomist and held several supervisory positions. Ebony’s desire to help those in need has led her to volunteer with many organizations and churches over the years including Akron Bible Church, Agape House, and JoAnna House II Foundation. Ebony helped to facilitate Facebook Feeds the Needy, which is a group of people connected through Facebook that feed those in need during the Thanksgiving holiday; she also volunteered with Akron’s Juneteenth event in 2020. Ebony also has a podcast on AkronHipHop.com discussing current events and relationship topics.
Ebony values the relationships she has with her 4 children (DeShawn, Ianah, Tamia, Titus), grandmother Maxine, mother-in-love Renee, sisters Tiphany and Jetora, as well as her nieces and nephews. Ebony loves roller skating, nature walks, music, cooking, and being creative in making jewelry, jewelry boards, and altering clothing.
