Marlene is a native of Akron, Ohio, and graduated from Akron’s North High School in 1973. She is retired from Chrysler Industries. Marlene has been a part of the Calhoun Funeral Home family for ten years and enjoys it very much.

Marlene was blessed with three children and is fortunate to have two children still with her. Her blessings continue with three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Marlene is a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church where she sings in the choir. She is also a member of The Women’s Ministry Group. Marlene loves to joke, laugh, show care and compassion to others, exercise, decorate, and show her support for her favorite sports team, the Golden State Warriors.
