Michele is one of our part-time front desk receptionists at the Rockside location of the Calhoun Funeral Home family. After 31 years of teaching, she retired from the Cleveland Metropolitan School District where she taught English, speech communication, and theatre education at John Marshall High School. Michele is an active member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and has been a member of Alpha Lambda Sigma Alumnae Chapter for 18 years.

Michele has been married to her husband, Curtis A. Franklin, for 34 years and they share one adult daughter, Curstyn Franklin. Michele has been a member of Olivet Institutional Baptist Church for over 30 years.
