Paula DePree Smith is proud to be a part of the Stewart & Calhoun family as a Funeral Service Associate. She graduated from Central-Hower High School and obtained her Associate Degree in Technical Studies and Public Services from Stark State College.

Paula is well-known throughout the city of Akron for her community involvement with young people. She states, “it is very important to continue to prepare and educate our youth for present and future times. We must encourage and support them in every possible way we can.”

Paula is a professional vocalist and has ministered gospel music across the country for over 50 years. Her musical expertise includes teaching vocal techniques and developing choirs and praise teams.

What she loves the best about being a part of the Stewart & Calhoun family is the staff gathering EVERY morning for prayer. What a way to start the day!!
