Rev. Walker is a Cleveland, Ohio native and has dedicated himself to serving his community.

He is a graduate of East Tech High School, Cuyahoga Community College, The Warren Bible School in Cleveland, and the Cleveland Police Academy for supervisory training. Rev. Walker is retired from the City of Cleveland Division of Police.

Rev. Walker is the Pastor of St. John Baptist Church in Painesville, Ohio. He is on the faculty of the National Baptist Congress of Christian Education Inc. as an Instructor in the department of Theology. He is a member of Cleveland’s SCLC, Lake County NAACP, and an elected precinct committeeman to the Cuyahoga County’s Democratic Party. Rev. Walker is married to Mary Liggins Walker, they are the proud parents of two children and grandparents to two grandchildren.
