Ahart Hunter, age 70, passed away on November 26, 2022.

Ahart “Billy” Hunter was born on June 23, 1952 to Clemestine Hunter and Willie Joe White. He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Gilliam Baptist Church in Tyler, Alabama. After attending R. B. Hudson High School in Selma, Alabama, he then moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1970 and made it his home. He later met and married Joyce Holt Hunter in April of 1978.

After fighting a long battle with health issues, he was called home to rest.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Clemestine Hunter and father, Willie Joe White, three sisters and four brothers.
He leaves to mourn and cherish his loving wife, Joyce, of 44 years; one daughter, Tracy Mais (Warrensville Hts.) two sons; Ahart Hunter, Jr. (Columbus, Ohio) and DeOnte Hunter (Warrensville Hts.). Seven grandchildren: Dewana, Dartanian, Shanautica, Aniyah, Madison, Ava, and Ahart, III. Three great-grandchildren: Amaria, Maurice, and Xzavier. Ten sisters: Beatrice Hunter, Ruby Rudolph, Sandra (Ishiah) Thomas, Brenda Gordon, Clarice (Gregory) Young, Glissean (Herman) Crittenden, Cynthia Jackson, Elizabeth (Ben) Davis, Pricilla Brown, and Bertha White. Eight brothers: William (Miranda) White, Arthue (Faye) Nelson, Marvin (Laura) Gresham, Pernell Gresham, Bobby (Queenie) Gresham, Morris (Telinda) Gresham, Horrace (Jasmine) Gresham, and James Earl York. A host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
