Alan K. Fuller passed away at home November 3, 2021, after an extended illness. He was born May 1, 1963, in Akron to parents John and Carolyn Fuller Jr. He married the love of his life, Kathy Conwell. Alan graduated from Kenmore High School in 1984, and the Adult Vocational School specializing in auto mechanics. He worked at Waste Management of Akron and had previously retired from the Logan Machine Company in 2020 after working there for 17 years.
Alan was a dedicated fan of the Pittsburg Steelers and enjoyed listening to his favorite R&B soul music. He loved working with his hands and putting things together. He also loved reading the newspaper and keeping abreast of sports and current events.
Alan was preceded in death by his grandparents, John (Betty) Fuller Sr., Annie Steps; and in-laws Harold (Sarah) Conwell.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his sons, Alan Conwell (Lorri Ball), John A. Fuller, and Mark (Lisa) Conwell; daughter, Sarah Conwell (Brandon Davis); sister, Sherri (Clifford) Graves; sister-in-law, Debbie (David) Jeffries; grandchildren, Carson, Brandon, Brandy, Aleigha, Sariah, Aiden, and Alan Jr.; beloved aunts, Gail King, Selisa Rackley and Annie Steele; uncle, Lee Steps; special cousins, Darlene Thompson and Dale Bigby; as well as a host of relatives and friends.
