In honor of Al, please dress casually in your favorite basketball team’s apparel.
Albert Frederick Robinson was born to Michael & Rachel Robinson, on February 2, 1977, in Davenport, Iowa. Affectionately called Al, he was the fourth of five children. Al had many talents, from singing, to writing poetry, to drawing, to cooking masterfully. He had an undeniable love for sports, particularly, basketball. He loved the city of Cleveland and was a loyal fan of the Cavs.
His legacy of love, protection, competitiveness and culinary prowess lives on through the lives of the players he impacted, the children he taught and the family he loved so much. Al was preceded in death by his mother, and his paternal and maternal grandparents. His legacy will live on through his father, Michael, his siblings Amy (Larry) Griffin, Michael (Janelle) Robinson, Raquel (Darrel) Mance, Amanda (Kenandre) Brown, 3 nephews, 7 nieces, 1 great nephew, 1 great niece, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Sending condolences and prayers to Robinson family. Definitely remember when Albert parents brought him to church shortly after being born being blessed ( Davenport IA ). He was a handsome little boy . So sorry to hear of the loss. Remember the day they left Davenport area . Definitely missed.

Just scrolling through the website, I came across this notice and I am still in disbelief. Coach Al spent many years coaching my grandson and other boys. He was dedicated to seeing the boys he coached excell in the sport. My heart goes out to his family as they grieve the loss of one who will long be remembered by the many young lives he touched as a coach.
