I am so very sad to hear of his passing. I am grateful for crossing paths while he did physical therapy and every interaction I had with him always left me feeling happy. Whether it was face to face or over the phone he always made it a point to ask how I was doing amidst his pain( and you could feel his smile through the phone ). I will never forget our last conversation ( not knowing it was at the time) but he let me bend his ear as I just lost my dad to pancreatic cancer. He warmed my heart and shared his own battle. As a tear falls from my eyes I want his family to know what a kind and gentle soul he was and has made an imprint on my heart forever. He passed exactly 1 year after my dad and I believe now he played a role in my own healing . I will carry Mr. Harrison in my heart . May he rest in peace and I have no doubt he is one of the most special angels in heaven. You were a true blessing. Blessings to your family and loved ones always. Each year I will now walk for him along with my dad to raise $ for research.

Albert was such a bright light at Brady Middle School. I was fortunate and blessed to know him. He is so very missed. My condolences to all his wonderful family, which he spoke so fondly and highly of during the years we worked together. God Bless. Heaven has an amazing angel among them now.

To the family of Mr Ray Harrison, please accept my sincere condolences in the passing of your dear loved one Ray. I was deeply saddened at the news of his passing. I will remember the last time we spoke at the JFK reunion at Kerruish Park last summer, we exchanged numbers to keep in contact. May your soul rest eternally with God. Keeping the family in my prayers ??????

Words cannot express our sorrow at Ray's passing. We shared much laughter, comaraderie, some sorrow, and in the best of being neighbors, provided help and support "across the fence" (which Ray jumped over ? from time to time!). He will forever be a positive and uplifting spirit in the hearts and memories of those who knew him. Teresa, D'Andray, and Char - we wish you God's strength and blessing now and into the future. Harold and Cheryl Jones

Former student at Orange left a message on April 5, 2023:
Nothing but positive things to say about this man. He was the biggest ball of light. And my condolences go out to whomever may be reading. Albert worked for my school when I used to go to the Orange city school district, and he always had a smile on his face that I will never ever forget, it was absolutely contagious. He greeted every student with a smile and made everyone around him happy. I think I can attests for many other students who also got to be around Albert and say we are truly devastated for your loss and are keeping your family and friends in our prayers. I think he’d want us all to spread love and joy, because he will always be remembered that way in the Orange community.

I am now a senior about to graduate at Orange and I vividly remember seeing Albert every day during middle school never without a smile on his face. He would greet us each day and give us all high fives while we’d talk about what was going on in sports world. I know I can speak for the whole Orange community when I say we truly enjoyed the moments that we were able to share with Albert as well as his dedication to bettering our community. I offer my deepest condolences and hope that you can find comfort in the amount of lives he has impacted.

Albert often would stop and talk to inquire about your day or share a bit, even driving out of his way in the parking lot to check in. He seemed to care deeply for his family. Orange Schools is blessed to have him part of the community. Prayers for his family.
