Alecia Ann Williams was born on March 31, 1975, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Rita and Lee Roy Scott. She attended John Marshall High School and graduated in 1993. At an early age, Alecia accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, a faith that remained an important and guiding part of her life. She went on to attend Cleveland State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources Management.
Alecia built a strong and dedicated career, working at Cleveland Hopkins Airport, the Cleveland Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA), and later serving as the Assistant Director of Human Resources at Jennings Nursing Home. She was known not only for her hard work and leadership, but also for her warm spirit, friendly personality, and the genuine kindness she showed to everyone she met. Alecia never met a stranger — her outgoing nature, beautiful smile, and loving heart left a lasting impression on all who encountered her.
On February 13, 2016, Alecia married Ronald Williams Sr. Together they shared 16 beautiful years filled with love, laughter, family, and cherished memories, including 10 years of marriage. Through their union, they were blessed with their son, Dorian Bryce Williams, and she lovingly embraced Ronald Williams Jr. as her own. Family meant everything to Alecia, and she especially loved traveling with her loved ones, creating special memories together wherever they went. One of her greatest joys was gathering once a month with her beloved besties for Bible study, fellowship, laughter, and encouragement.
Alecia leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Ronald Williams Sr.; her sons, Ronald Williams Jr. and Dorian Bryce Williams; her mother, Rita Scott; her beloved parents by marriage, Turner and Mary Williams; her sister, Karen Scott; her brother, Kevin Scott; her beloved brothers by marriage, Turner D. Williams (Sharon) and Reginald Williams (Rochelle); her niece, Nadia; her nephews, Kevin, Nathan, and Ronnie; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, family members, and dear friends. She will be deeply missed by her besties Anne, Tara, DeeDee, and Felicia; her best friend, Nakia; and her dearest cousin, Nikki Staton (Arthur).
Alecia was preceded in death by her father, Roy Lee Scott; her sisters, Crystal Burton; and Lolita Lynn Cannon.
Alecia Ann Williams made an unforgettable impact on everyone she encountered through her love, compassion, faith, and joyful spirit. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, and she will be greatly missed.
