Alex McCail Jr., 94, rested in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ, October 11, 2021. Born on August 19, 1927 in Alden, AL to the late Mary Lou Carter and Alex McCail Sr. Alex was married to the love of his life, Pauline McCail, for 70 years until her passing in 2016.
Preceded in death by wife, Pauline McCail; parents, Mary Carter & Alex McCail Sr.; sisters, Lucille Smith, Lillie Kennon and Ellen Colvin; brothers, Clester Carter, James McCail Sr. and Sam McCail; son in law, Alan Archie; great-grandson, Davion McCail; great-great-granddaughter, Jayana Swain.
Alex leaves behind to cherish his memories, children, Rebecca Reynolds, Rosa Archie, Ann (Walter) Blanks, Denether Hood, Betty (Kerry) Hall, Ellais McCail; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
