Our dearest brother, Alfred Taylor Allison departed this earthly life on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Rose Lane Rehab Center.
Alfred was born on February 15, 1951 in Asheville, North Carolina to Margarette and Tommie Lee Allison. He was the fifth of eight children born to these parents.
Alfred served in the Vietnam War from 1969-1972. He was private person who kept to himself and did things that made him happy.
Alfred was preceded in death by his parents, Tommie Lee and Margarette Allison and brother Otis.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Danita and Cameron; his brothers and sisters, Ashanti Allison (Jennifer), Elizabeth “May” Young (Dwight), Verdell Mosley (Melvin), Michael Allison, James Allison and Edgar Allison (Ron); cousins William Watts (Sue) of Birmingham, Alabama, Earthelene Sanders, Arthur and Bill Chappell; his Aunt Henrietta Chappell, all from Asheville, North Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends.
