Alice, knowing that if I called you on the phone you would not be at the other end, it’s hurt.. I will missed, hearing you saying “Hello or Hey, Bren….!, this is Alice!”. Your Laughters, your Giggling on the phone And, oh, how we would laugh.?? and talk for so long, disgusting our deepest feelings, thoughts and secrets, forgetting whatever aches or pains we may be going experiencing. I love you aunt Alice. I remember vividly as a child as a 1st and 2nd grader when you and aunt Valisia would help me with my school work. You would provide me with a delicious drink whenever I completed my homework. It is things like that including helping to provide discipline during those times in Ellenwood. and many more memories that helped mold me into who I am. My mother spoke highly of you and your loving husband uncle Dominic. That means a lot to me.

I miss you Alice. You gave me comfort whenever you spoke your loving words to me. Your presence on your previous visit to Atlanta when you took a moment to visit me provided a touching moment that I will always remember. I love you sister

I would like to send my deepest heartfelt condolences to the Okon family. My thoughts are with you all during this difficult time. A pleasant memory from the past is when Mrs. Okon drove all of us to school each morning (Monica, Sandra, me, and Ashlee) while at Wiley Middle School which was such a great act of kindness. I fondly remember sitting in their kitchen in the mornings before school! I pray for true comfort for the Okon family.

My deepest Condolences to the Okon Family. Alice was one of a kind. I loved her the first day I met her at my Grandmothers (Edith Walker) She was Monica, Brianna, Sandra and Shakayla's daycare provider. Our children grew up together for a short period of time, but Alice & I kept in touch. I will miss her heartwarming smile and the love she had for people. My God strengthen the familiy as they go through this difficult time..

I will miss our talks, fun times shared traveling and shopping..cooking and enjoying good food. You have always been there for us, our wedding, the death of my parents, support during my graduate degree and a partner in crime for "where we going" always ready. To the family l met Alice ~28 years ago as “our girls” attended the same school. The school expected and provided many opportunities for family involvement.
