The Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020 Wake: 9:30a.m. Funeral: 10:00a.m. at Open Door Missionary Baptist Church 8215 Woodland Ave. Cleveland, OH, 44104. Live streaming will be available for the service provided by Open Door Missionary Baptist Church.

Alice C. Shields, age 88, went home to be with the Lord on July 13, 2020. children, Pastor Janice Renee Erving(Darryl), Kenneth(Donna), Kelvin(Shari), Lavonia and Gregory Shields; siblings, Leroy McKellar of Thomasville, AL and step brother, Eugene(Ledora); 5 grandchildren, Chief Kamau (BKA Mel) Nunn, Larisha Arnold, Kamry Shields, Jada Shields, and Izac Shields; 4 great-grandchildren, Tavain, Tamia, and Xavier. Alice is the daughter of the late, Johnnie Lee and Stellar McKellar. She is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earnest; son, Larry; and great grandchild, Quadir.
