Alice attended Loving High School in Montgomery, Alabama before relocating to Cleveland, Ohio and graduating from Central High School. She married her childhood sweetheart, Willie Taylor in 1950. To this union, six children were born.
Alice worked at PerfectLite until she retired in 1997.
She was the matriarch of the family. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with family, going to casinos and shopping.
Alice was preceded death by her parents; her husband, Willie Taylor and her children, Vinnie Jones, Wayne Taylor Sr, Willie (Kenny) Taylor and two grandchild, Kenneth Dee Taylor and Damona S. Fletcher, as well as her brother, Ricky Duncan.
She leaves precious and cherished memories with her children, Wilma Leonard (Tampa,Florida), Kathy Taylor (Tampa, Florida) and Deeda Keenan (Michael); sixteen grandchildren and a number of great grand, great-great grand and great-great-great grandchildren. This family consists of six generations; one brother, Otis Duncan (Sharon), Chicago IL; special cousin, Nellie Blakely; one sister-in-law, Della Powell, and one brother-in-law, Joseph Taylor and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends who will miss her dearly.
