Alijuan T. Johnson, known as “AJ”, 21 years of age, passed away on March 29, 2021, at Cleveland Clinic. He was born on October 21, 1999, in Akron, Ohio to Evita Carter. He was the youngest of two children.

Alijuan was educated in the Tallmadge Schools System of Ohio, where he played football and was loved by his teachers and peers. He had a variety of jobs, but his main job was working in a factory. He enjoyed helping others and did so much for the people around him.

He loved to watch TV, go fishing, and swimming. His favorite thing to do was to eat. He really loved eating seafood. He was always laughing and always wearing a smile on his face. He was a loving, caring, and kind-hearted person. He was a devoted brother, son, and friend. Always thinking of others first, to know love was to know Alijuan.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his mother, Evita Carter; stepfather, Jacob Carter; grandparents, Brenda Young, Marvin Young; sister, Ashai Johnson; aunt, Janaya Johnson; cousins, Joi Johnson and Juvante Johnson, and a host of other family members and friends.

I rejoice in the opportunity to have crossed paths with AJ. He was taken from this world far too soon. Nevertheless, he managed to grace many of us with his sense of humor. I will remember his for his poise and smile.
