Alisa C. Harris went home to be with the Lord December 31, 2017. She was born in Akron, Ohio January 17, 1945 to the late Lee and Mary Harris.
Alisa attended Akron Public School and graduated from South High School in 1963 where she was a cheerleader. She attended the University of Akron School of Nursing. She was a member of Wesley Temple A.M.E. Zion Church.
Alisa was a homemaker; she loved to bake, fish, listen to music, attend concerts and photography. She was a jokester but was a very caring person. She was married to James L. Crooks and to this union three children were born.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Brenda Lee Toomer. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Marquida Crooks, James Crooks, and Dana Crooks; nine grandchildren, great-grandchildren; many relatives and friends.
