Mrs. Alma V Burns was born on February 7, 1948 in Anniston, Alabama to the late James Smedley and late Ernestine Roden. After a hard courageous battle, she peacefully transitioned March 9th, 2024.
Alma dedicated herself to Christ at an early age and accepted God as her Savior.
We mourn the passing of Alma Burns, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) who dedicated 30 years of her life to caring for her family and geriatric patients. Alma’s compassionate nature and unwavering commitment to her work left an indelible mark on the lives of those she came across.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Alma found joy in her 53-year marriage to Jimmy Burns. Their enduring love and partnership were a source of strength and happiness throughout their lives together. Of this marriage 2 children were born, Carlos and Tammy Burns
In her leisure time, Alma cherished moments with her family especially her grandchildren Cameron, Caelin, and Destinee. She delighted in simple pleasures such as listening to the Whispers and dining out. Her warm presence and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
As we bid farewell to Alma, may her memory serve as a beacon of love, kindness, and grace to others. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion that will continue to inspire us all. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones during this difficult time.
