Amiri Brian Elijah Brou was born in Cleveland, OH at 8:02am on March 8, 2021. He was born to the union of Briauna Mitchell and Oi Brou Gaston Brou.

During his time on earth, he was deeply loved and brought immense joy to all those around him.

Amiri was an active and inquisitive child. His favorite show was “Charlie Colorform City.” He enjoyed listening to music, FaceTime calls and cuddling with his soft toys. He especially loved playing outside and riding in his battery-operated Lamborghini.

Amir’s favorite foods was Chick-fil-A, fresh fruit and his African heritage food. Two of his favorite places were his grandmother’s house and daycare where he enjoyed being with his special caregiver, Ms. Karen H. Lane.

Most of all he loved his parents and always found comfort in their arms.

Amiri departed this this life Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Lake West Hospital. He was a wonderful son, grandson, nephew and cousin.

He is preceded in death by his Grandfather, Brian Williams and Grandmother Adjoua Odette Aka. Great Great Grandparents Elijah Sr. and Lillian Mitchell, Melvin and Lolle Hayes.

Amiri leaves to cherish his memory his Parents, Brothers: Jayden Marvin Brou and Attobra Jean-Paul Brow. Grandmother Nicole Mitchell, Grandfather Brou Attobra Gilbert, and one special Grandfather. Great-grandparents: Delores Mitchell (John), Elijah Mitchell, Jr. Great Great Great Aunt Pretto Webb. Uncles: David Mitchell, Tufani Douglas, Millard Willams, Rodney Williams, Antwan Williams Saman Alphonse Attobra, Mian Martial Adoubo and Amie Yessoh. Aunts: Tracy Justice (Robert) Monica Mitchell, Jennifer Mitchell, Sharon Jones (Rodney) Gloria Williams, Pandora Pace (Orlando), Edith Duncan (Douglas), Jennifer Meritt (Demetrius) and Calixte Wembe. Cousins: Landon Mitchell, Joshua Knox, Jazmin Justice, DeLourn Mitchell, and a host of cousins and relatives.
