I worked with Andy for several years, and always enjoyed having him around. He was quiet, but he had a great sense of humor.
I remember that he would always sit in one particular chair anytime we had a meeting. One day, a young co-worker was sitting in Andy's chair. Andy was just smooth and calm. He pulled out the empty chair next to this fellow, and then, using his foot, he gently pushed the occupied chair over to the empty space. Then he rolled the extra chair into his spot and sat down. Everybody was cracking up, but Andy just acted like it was a regular thing to do. He was such a character. He will be missed.
