Andre’ Ramone Thomas, aka “Boy” or “Dre”, was born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 5, 1978 to Antoinette Tabb and Elce Turner. Andre’ recently changed his name to Elce Malik Bey.
Dre’ attended Glenville High School. Shortly after, his son was born, Andre Ramone Howard, and he was the joy of his life.
Dre’ started cutting hair during his teen years and perfected his skill. He also called himself “The Traveling Barber”. Dre’ talked to everyone especially young children and teens trying to teach them to respect themselves, their parents, and most importantly their elders. He had plans to travel in the near future.
Dre’s death came as a shock to all who knew and loved him. Boy leaves to cherish his memories to his son Andre Ramone Howard, daughter Imani Sipp, mother Antoinette Tabb (Roosevelt), father Elce Turner (Warnique) eight sisters Allendra Carpenter (Jeremy), Elice Turner, Elexcia Turner, Elehia Turner, Patricia Williams, Clarissa Bett, Candise Washington, Keyana Richardson, brothers Lovelle Turner and Melvin Hairston, 2 grandchildren, a host of childhood brothers that grew up together and loved each other for life, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
What better man that would give up his life for his brother. Raymond Lumpkin is a hero!!! What a hero!!!
