Andrea C. McDowell was the first child of Jenny Washington-Williams and Eugene McDowell.
She was born on June 16, 1971 in Ohio. Those who knew well referred to her, “Precious”.
She leaves behind one daughter, Alycia White, age 14.
Precious graduated from John Hay High School (Cleveland Ohio) in 1989. She attended Bowling Green State University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Child and Family Community Service (1996) and her Master of Arts Degree in Mental Health Counseling in 1998.
Throughout the years, Precious was employed by Ambleside Towers in Cleveland, Ohio where she worked as an Office Assistant. Progressively, she moved up to become Assistant, the Head of the Senior program at the Thea Bowman Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
Those who had the pleasure of knowing Precious, knew she was honest and sincere. Not only was she compassionate, she was a good listener and would always give to those in need. She was also a Hip Hop history enthusiast, as well as a reference point for hard to find information. Family meant everything to her. Gatherings will never be the same without Precious being there dancing and reminiscing about the old days.

Eugenia McDowell, Sudeak Brown, Nicholas Winfield Jr., Deidre Redmond, Eugene McDowell Jr., Angelina Fletcher, Nicole Winfield, Denise Davis, Eula McDowell, and Andrea Mann.
She also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, one great niece and a host of friends, and loved ones.
